1. How to reduce electricity bills while using Air Conditioner?

+

-

Inverter or Non-inverter unit, set the temperature in economic setting 23-25 °C. Make sure your door and windows are properly closed. If the sunlight is directly hitting the window, use curtains or blinds to reduce the heat entering the room, and make sure the ceiling is well insulated.

2. What is the cause of refrigerant leak and how can it be prevented?

It's possible for the evaporator and condenser of your air conditioner to develop corrosion if it's near salty, toxic, or slampy places. 4. What is the cause of the unpleasant smell emitted by an air condition unit, what could be its possible problem?

Yes, it is common to have water leaking on the air conditioner's back. This is due to the moisture coming from the evaporator coils going into the unit's drain hole.  In order to improve water flow, we can utilize the drain hole with a drain hose.

7. What is the difference between a humidifier and air purifier?

+

-

Dehumidifiers and air purifiers both contribute to better air quality. The air purifier can filter the air through air filters, since it will eliminate other harmful air pollutants such as dust, smoke, bacteria and pollen. Whereas the dehumidifier helps to balance the moisture level in an area to prevent moist air that causes molds, mildew, wood rots and dust mites.

There are many benefits to using a purifier, because of its ability to filter air, it is a great help to people with allergies and asthma. Air purifiers also help in the suppression of airborne diseases such as common colds and flu, it also eliminates the unpleasant odor from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that are often found in paint, air fresheners, aerosol sprays that can cause nausea or difficulty in breathing.

9. Need your insight regarding the drain plug of our Kolin Aircon? Should we remove it or not?

+

-

The quad series comes in both drip and no drip setups. In the no drip set up, the air conditioner uses condensate to increase efficiency, but it will be slightly noisier than usual due to water splashing in the condenser. You can also remove the unit's drain plug to make it a drip system and make your air conditioner's operation quieter.

10. How often does the Air Purifier filter need to be changed?

+

-

In addition to having a UV light, the Kolin purifier contains a 4-stage filtering system. The aluminum pre-filter, active carbon filter, and h12 hepa filter are its three air filters in addition to the UV light technology. While the Active Carbon Filter and H12 Hepa Filter are disposable and need to be changed every six months, the Almunum Pre-filter is washable
